Ms. Napolitano Goes to Washington
This is not a huge surprise. The scuttlebutt in Arizona political circles has been that Gov. Napolitano would be called up to Washington ever since Obama was elected. Still, I’m going to miss her. I think she has done a great job as our Governor. I am also concerned about the state of Arizona’s immigration and abortion policy when she’s gone. One of the things that Gov. Napolitano has understood that immigration shouldn’t be all about security and since 2003 she vetoed at least nine measures to limit access to abortion. I have to admit that I’m nervous for our future. I wish she wasn’t leaving, but when the president calls who can’t exactly say no.
